The Del Norte High School’s cross-country team’s first meet of the season was Sept. 18 in Fortuna. West Wood High School of McKinleyville placed first on the 3-mile-long course with a time of 16 minutes, 14 seconds.Del Norte has 15 boys on the team, with no girls running this year.
