Richard Wayne Boatman, born Jan 12, 1950, passed away Aug. 25, 2019, surrounded by family and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Boatman, his brothers, William Boatman and Robert Boatman. He is survived by his wife, Linda of 50 years. His son, Rick from Terrebone, Ore and his daughter, Amy from Klamath Falls, Ore., and his sister, Patricia Wiedmann from Crescent City. Richard worked as a mill wright for South Coast Lumber, for 27 years. After Richard retired in 2016, he continued work helping family and friends with their home improvement projects. Richard enjoyed taking care of his family and fishing.At Richard’s request no services will be held. Donations in his name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research would be appreciated.Our hearts are broken with his passing, but our memories will keep him close.
