It’s not every day that a California horse walks into the lobby of The Triplicate’s sister newspaper in Brookings. Prince Charming is a survivor of the Nov. 18, 2018, Camp Fire, called the most deadly and destructive wildfire in California history. The horse now lives with Brookings residents Jim Hart and Laura Bruns, operators of West Coast Minis, a nonprofit rescue group.
