We are sad to announce that our creator has called Tom home, to be with his parents Minnie Miller and Robert Cassidy. He was born and raised in Crescent City, CA. In junior high and high school during the 70’s he joined several sport teams such as track, pole vault, basketball, football, wrestling and boxing. After leaving high school he joined the army where he did a short term. He began working in the fishing industry in his early 20’s that launched his career as a fisherman. He enjoyed sports, fishing, wrestling, barbecuing and camping.He left behind his wife of 37 years, Michelle Cassidy, and his children Amanda Hurd, Adreath Hurd, Crystal Cassidy, Jessica Freniere and Joseph Cassidy. He also left behind his grandchildren Noah Morris, Mathew Cassidy, Lori Moodie-Cotta, Tyler Oliver, Raven Cassidy, Jase & Hunter Hurd. Tom’s life would seem too short to many people. But those who were touched by his life understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
