William Donald Schmidt was born on September 12, 1955 in Fresno, CA. He passed away at Renown Hospital on August 6, 2019.His parents were Donald and Caroline Schmidt, who have predeceased him. Before passing, he was hospitalized for 3 weeks. He proudly served in the U.S. Army in 1973 but was discharged early due to severe medical conditions.He is survived by his daughter, Sequoia Dawn Schmidt of Crescent City, CA and his brother, Michael Leland Horton of Bakersfield, CA.A memorial service will be held in the dining area of his previous apartment complex; Lincoln Way Senior Apartments, 618 4th St. Sparks, NV 89431, On Saturday, August 24, 2019.
