Under the expanses of the Patterson Memorial Bridge, the Gold Beach Fire Department wowed the folks of central Curry County with a brilliant pyrotechnic light show that showcased scores of fireworks at 10 p.m. over the bay of the Rogue River.The evening weather was picture perfect and several degrees warmer than usual with minimal winds.
