Nancy Elizabeth MacLeod passed away peacefully in her daughterβs home in Redding, on June 2, 2019. She was born March 26, 1953, in Sacramento. She grew up on a dairy where her main mode of transportation with her friends was riding horses.She retired from Pelican Bay State Prison after 22 years as a correctional officer. She resided in Smith River for over 30 years. She enjoyed working in her yard, watching football, and reading several newspapers daily. She will be remembered by all for her love for animals, passion for politics and the unconditional love she shared for everyone she met.She is survived by her son, Kevin Finicum and grandchildren, Wyatt and Paisley; daughter, Jessica Davis and grandchildren Rylynn and Ireland; and daughter, Lauren Curry and grandchildren Ian and Ivy.A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on July 6, 2019, at 2 p.m. at The Bank Tavern in Smith River.She will be laid to rest in Lebanon, Oregon with her grandparents, parents and sister on July 8, 2019.β Submitted by Family#7102538lJF0703 To plant a tree in memory of Nancy MacLeod as a living tribute, please visit Tribute Store. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('ad-1515727'); });
