It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas E. Hansberry announces his passing after a battle with cancer, on Monday, June 17, 2019, at the age of 62. Tom will be lovingly remembered by his children, Miranda, Dawn, Jody and Trisha; sister, Norma; grandchildren, Amanda, Hailey, Joshua, Evan, Brendan, Justice, Junior, Davion, and Carlynn; nephews, Chris, J.R., Ernesto and Miguel; great-grandchildren, cousins and friends.Tom grew up in Crescent City, served in the military as a Marine, loved his family and friends most of all and enjoyed spending time with them camping, fishing and just being outdoors. Tom was a direct support professional at New Dawn Support Services and while working there formed many friendships with co-workers and the people he supported. Tom will be forever loved and missed.
