By Donna Westfall – March 21, 2026 It's not too late to enjoy the event at the County Fairgrounds. It goes until 4 pm this afternoon. Lots and lots of seeds to give away. No so many plants. I think they may be gone by now. I asked one of the people where the seeds come from and he said, "We get them from stores all around because they would just throw them away." There are tables and tables of seed packets. Free. There are also plants and trees to buy. Thoroughly enjoyable event. You might even run into old friends there.
