By Donna Westfall – June 3, 2021 The Fire District Tax has been in the news with pros and cons of adding $74/year to property owner's tax bill for single family owners. BUT, one of the biggest controversies has been about the multi-family apartment owners having their bill capped at $1,000/year. If you think this is an attempt to buy votes, you may be right. Today at 11:30 am, Fire Chief Gillespie will be the featured speaker at the Republican Women's luncheon.
