By Donna Westfall – March 6, 2021 In a vote of 50 Yea to 49 Nay, H.R. 1319 called The American Rescue Plan Act has passed. The $15 an hour minimum wage was taken out of the bill. Some comments from social media: "Who didn't show up for work?" "Sad day for taxpayers." "This is a disgrace" – response: "There is no disgrace here. The disgrace are on the fools that voted them into office." Every Republican voted NO. Did they just mortgage our children's future?
