Opinion Piece by Donna Westfall – January 29, 2018 – Hungary's borders between Croatia and Serbia used to leak in hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants. Fences have caused illegal immigration to collapse from 391,000 in 2015, to 18,236 in 2016, to just 1,184 in 2017. Keep in mind that Hungary is an ex-communist country. Their Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, is very vocal about the problems with the European Union and would like to see corrections made. Here's the part that somewhat astounds me. The parties that are upset by the fences because of their open borders policy: open borders activists like billionaire financier George Soros and globalist officials at the European Union (EU) and the United Nations (UN). It's not Soros or the UN that's the big surprise. It's the EU. According to POLITICO article by Saim Saeed dated August 31, 2017: The European Commission does β€œnot promote the use of fences” and β€œwe have only recently taken down walls in Europe, we should not be putting them up,” a spokesman said in 2015. Yep. No walls equates to millions of illegal immigrants flooding into the European nations. Now let them deal with the consequences. Back to the wall. And, you can't even call it a wall. It's fencing, double fencing with barbed wire separated by a road. You can view the video at www.euronews.com/2017/04/28/hungary-completes-new-anti-migrant-border-fence-with-serbia. But, it's effective. Hungary's answer to protecting their citizens.
