From the Del Norte County Sheriff's Office Facebook Page – October 25, 2016 – The Del Norte County Sheriff's Office would like to introduce Deputy Tobias Chittock to the community. Deputy Chittock was born and raised in Del Norte County and graduated from Del Norte High School in 2004. Deputy Chittock was a local law enforcement Explorer before being employed by the Del Norte County Probation Department as a Juvenile Hall Correctional Officer before moving to Beaverton Or. Deputy Chittock joined the United States Army in 2012 as a Combat Engineer spending one year in Korea, and two years at Fort Lewis, Washington. Deputy Chittock Graduated from the College of the Redwoods 117th Police Academy on June 16, 2016 and then began his career with the Del Norte County Sheriff's Office.
