By Linda Sutter – December 21, 2015 – Wrapping up the Christmas season with buying gifts can be challenging, but today I found treasures at the Bargain Imports By the Sea. It is located on 16855 North Highway 101 right directly across from the old Nautical Inn. The owners, Younan and Sandy Dawood relocated to Del Norte County from Napa and brought an interesting business with them. Younan is Egyptian and Jewish, his family and culture believe that hospitality means something. His wife Sandy, is a retired PHD. In psychology. Together they have brought unique Egyptian souvenirs and other artifacts including clothing, and some furniture pieces as well as garden fountains. But that’s not all, there are a variety of things to browse through, and at a very reasonable price. Their hours of operation are Sunday through Friday from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. One thing is for sure, they love what they do and you are sure to feel very welcomed when you arrive.
