By Donna Westfall On 12-2-2015 the National Toxicology Program (NTP) announced a series of animal experiments to study the effect of fluoride on learning and memory. Many years ago an American scientist, Phyllis Mullenix, discovered disturbing neurological effects of fluoride and would not keep quiet about it. She was not allowed to continue her line of research. Funding denied. So it was left up to foreign scientists to pick up the ball and they did. After many, many studies done on animals and humans the NTP finally noticed and are now intensely interested in this. They are designing their own animal studies. But will Phyllis Mullenix be involved in any future research?. History says she will never be accepted back into highly funded research. Phyllis Mullenix stood up when she found something that is likely to be highly significant and paid the cost. __._,_.___
