I’ve signed every protest against the sewer and water rate increases and will continue to sign because the city is making it harder for me and my family and friends and neighbors to live. They made a big mistake spending $44 million on that sewer plant. They can’t afford it. We can’t afford to keep paying. Whenever anyone asks them questions they don’t want to answer, like former Councilwoman Donna Westfall did years ago about suspected overspending, fraud and corruption, they ignore them. None of the current council members are asking good questions either. It’s like all five of them nod their heads to whatever the City staff presents them. This is not good government.
