BY DONNA WESTFALL Hypomyces Lactifluorum is the Latin term for Lobster Mushrooms. I noticed an ad in Crescent City Sweet Deals for these mushrooms FREE. That's my favorite four letter "F" word. Plus it was from someone I knew, Tonya Pearcey from the Tea Party. These mushrooms grow on her property and she's been eating them for years. She's still alive and therefore it was just a matter of how tasty would they be? If it passed the sauteing in garlic and butter test, they could become a regular in our diet. They passed. Last night I chopped up garlic, parsley, lobster mushrooms and onions and let them saute in butter and SPIKE seasoning. Then I poured the mixture over Jasmine rice and chicken. Delicious!
