If you think revoking peoples right to own guns causes crime you may want to Google Switzerland where each person is taught to use weapons and are issued weapons to keep at home. Their military is the people! And if attacked their's is instant mobilization with weapons in hand. Their crime level involving guns is the lowest in the civilized world. I know we want to end situations where deranged individuals "mow" down rooms filled with children. I think Zeitgeist Moving Forward offers the most logical explanation as to why these unthinkable crimes are becoming frequently common. Mentally unstable citizens having access to weapons is a small part of this complexity. I think the government that is creating these unstable individuals by continually promoting legislation that erodes any concept of equality, i,e, THE 1%. When you are stressed daily about no jobs, increased rates, homelessness, no insurance……….Yes, you get not a little "squirrelly", you get a lot "squirrelly". And as frightening as these individuals are I am more afraid of the non-empathetic law makers who are intentionally creating situations that create the mental illnesses plaguing society. And if we cannot keep their greed for power and money under some control I do not want to be left with stones to throw at them as they approach the citizens with assault weapons and tanks.
