The deadly October 7, 2023, attacks on Israel—carried out while weak and indecisive leadership occupied the White House—were a horrific assault on innocent men, women, and children and represented one of the darkest days in Israeli history. When I became President, I made it clear: America stands firmly with Israel. Since retaking office, I expedited the delivery of $4 billion in military assistance to help Israel defend itself and protect civilian lives. I am also working tirelessly to ensure that every hostage is set free and reunited with their loved ones. To keep our country safe, I imposed visa restrictions on foreign nationals—including international students—with ties to terrorist organizations. I am steadfastly committed to deporting pro-Hamas radicals and to making our college campuses safe and patriotic again. These actions reflect a clear and unwavering commitment to a foreign policy of peace through strength. Under my leadership, the United States is once again standing strong against terrorism and standing firmly with our allies.
