March 7th, 2024 – For Redwood Voice Community News, a production of Redwood Voice Youth Media, today’s news: the results of Tuesday’s election; Inflation Reduction Act dollars will be used for Redwood restoration; Klamath Hatchery fish continue to perish from high water pressure; the Klamath River is named river of the year; the Yurok Tribal Council voted to formally oppose offshore wind development on the Yurok Coastline; a look at Monday’s City Council Meeting; a deeper dive into the Beachfront Park development presentation during Monday’s meeting; the City Council is advised not to spend their unallocated reserve; and an update from Eureka’s National Weather Service.
