March 15th, 2024 – For Redwood Voice Community News, a production of Redwood Voice Youth Media, today’s news: the Pacific Fishery Management Council discusses alternatives from the salmon season; access to the nearshore groundfish fishery is being won back; a roadwork update from CalTrans District 1; a weather report; budget cinnamon is being recalled; information on seal pups from the Northcoast Marine Mammal Center; the Klamath Boys and Girls Club receives a twenty five thousand dollar strategy grant; the Yurok Tribal Child Welfare & Behavior Health Department is holding a monthly Foster Care Support Group; and Brookings City Council approves South Coast Community Aquatic’s continued management of the municipal pool.
