July 30th, 2024 – For Redwood Voice Community News, a production of Redwood Voice Youth Media, today’s news: O-me-nok Learning Center is currently without internet; roadwork updates from CalTrans District 1; the Grand Jury reports that the County Jail is out of compliance; 4 elk were poached with lead shot and the rangers want answers; Senior Center needs more consistent funding; Crescent City will break ground on its brand new pump track; amendments for the Northwest Forest Plan are on the way; Grants Pass gets airport funding from the federal government; marine updates from Fishing the North Coast; and July is Minority Mental Health Month.
