September 5th, 2023 – For Redwood Voice Community News, a production of Redwood Voice Youth Media, today’s news: An update on the Smith River Wildfire Complex; Del Norte County refuses to pick up Jason Ogden after he was arrested by EPD; Eureka requires a permit to have a going out of business sale; All evacuations for Humboldt and Trinity Counties have been lifted; and Eureka residents Alfa Torres, and her husband Bosacio Villagranna open the doors of Paco’s Tacos Taqueria. All this and our regular segments from the Pacifica Radio Network and National Native News. We’re broadcasting on KFUG 101.1FM and kfugradio.org every day at 12PM, with a rebroadcast at 5PM. We’re also airing on KZZH 96.7FM at 6AM!
