August 8th, 2023 – For Redwood Voice Community News, a production of Redwood Voice Youth Media, today’s news: a new ordinance that is all for “adopt, don’t shop” could force Curry County’s only pet store to close; Crescent City Harbor Commissioners approve a five-year lease that will bring seafood from out of state; no more going in the porta-potties, South Beach is finally getting restrooms; and eating razor clams in Humboldt County is now a lot less deadly.
