August 4th, 2023 – For Redwood Voice Community News, a production of Redwood Voice Youth Media, today’s news: College of the Redwoods’ Facility Master Plan is approved by the Board of Trustees; Crescent City Harbor Commissioners worry of menu overlap among the planned food court businesses; Sequoia Zoo receives two yearling black bears; a family and their horses survive a horrific car accident uninjured; Mendocino County has inapt care for its opioid addicts; wildlife photographer Talia Rose finds and photographs baby minks; and a 1.5 acre fire ravages Covelo’s vegetation.
