The Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant on the 800 block of Murphy Avenue, last week. The warrant resulted in the seizure of 24 firearms, approximately nine lbs of marijuana, numerous boxes of ammunition, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Jack Pellitier, 39, Crescent City was taken into custody and booked into the Del Norte County Jail on the following charges: 30305 PC prohibited person from possessing ammunition; 29800(a)(1) PC, prohibited person on possession of a firearm; 18710(a) PC, possession of a destructive device.
