Assemblymember Chris Rogers(D-CA2) paid a visit to Crescent City, Wednesday.ASM Rogers greeted supporters at the Paragon Coffeehouse, from 11-1pm, with a changing and revolving audience of about 20 folks who asked questions and made Rogers aware of their concerns. Rogers prevailed over local School Board Trustee Michael Greer over the five county district, last, November.Democrat Rogers, who represents Sonoma, Mendocino, Humboldt, Trinity and Del Norte Counties, was asked questions concerning Social Security, Medicaid, Education, threatened cut backs in State services, speed limit restrictions along 199, dearth of medical services and housing needs, responded extemporaneously. One questioner queried Rogers, “You did not win Del Norte or Trinity counties (Red county Del Norte voted 60 percent to your 40 percent ). No Assemblymember, State Senator or Congress Representative Democrat has won Del Norte County in over 30 years. How will you serve the needs of middle class Del Norters in your first term in office?
