Held in conjunction with this season’s final Hike and Bike Day along Newton B. Drury Parkway, this family-friendly celebration offers exciting activities for all ages from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park. Hosted by Redwood Parks Conservancy, the National Park Service, and California State Parks, this unique event invites the community to “Come to the Parkside” for an unforgettable day in nature. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes at 1 p.m.! ● Junior Ranger Hikes: Times to be announced. Young adventurers can participate in guided hikes to learn about local ecosystems and wildlife. ● Partner Booths: Learn and engage with fantastic partners and community organizations offering educational activities near the visitor center.
