Police Explorer K9 Juno near fully recovered. Courtesy photos One wouldn’t know CCPD K9 Juno was almost killed by a hit’n run driver, last month. Juno’s trainer Jenna Phillips rescued the injured K9 after Juno experienced a broken pelvis and leg on Washington Blvd near the Fire station. The Phillips family rushed Juno to Town and Country Animal Clinic who administered first aid and saved Juno’s life. The next day the family transported Juno to Springfield to a surgical vet team.Jenna’s mom reports Juno’s rehab is going very well and she’s up walking around three weeks post surgery.
