“Let’s quit complaining and do something about it,” exclaimed Crescent City Women’s Club project coordinator Liz Freeman.As its annual project, the Women ‘s Club has partnered with the Del Norte Historical Society to replace all flood lighting around Battery Point Lighthouse, last Tuesday, just before dawn, as high tide was rapidly approaching. Sean Smith and his crew crossed the shallow waters and self-marooned on the island and began the task of installing flood lights, long absent.
