The California Dept. of Fish and Wildlife announced $17 million in Grants for 18 restoration and protection projects, State-wide. Many of the individual Grants will benefit the Klamath-Trinity watershed, wetlands and meadows impacted by cannabis cultivation.“Timing is critical to a support a diverse array of projects that will benefit fish, wildlife, lands and watershed across the State,” said CDFW Director Charlton Bonham.Since 2023, CDFW has awarded close to $292 million for a single application process for several funding initiatives.
