Theodore B. Dennison, 87, of Wakeman, OH passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at The Elms Retirement Village. He was a resident of Crescent City from the mid-1960s to the mid-1990s.He was born March 15, 1937 in Birmingham, Ohio to George and Dorothy (Latteman) Dennison.Ted graduated from the first graduating class of Firelands High School in 1955. He was a veteran of the Air Force who proudly served his country from 1956 to 1960. He was a Blackjack dealer in Reno, Nevada after his military service and worked as a piledriver in addition to starting his own Crab fishing business in Crescent City, California. He was a member of VFW and the Wellington Eagles. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading, and playing cards while having great conversations with family, new friends and old.Ted is survived by his daughters, Margo (Bryan) Flora, and Paula Beal, son, Rick Beal; sisters, Twila Strinka, and Lois Suttle; brother, Norris Dennison; his lady-friend, Kay Yasher; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.In addition to his parents, Theodore was preceded in death by his first wife, Madge Greyeyes; second wife, Joyce Myers; daughters, Cheryl Chapman, and Marcella Dennison; and grandson, Teddy.At his request there are no plans for a memorial service at this time.Those wishing to contribute to Ted's memory, may do so in his name to a charity of the donor's choice.Toft Funeral Home, Wakeman Chapel, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman, is handling arrangements.Condolences may be shared online at toftfuneralhome.com.
