The California Highway Patrol is investigating a Vehicle vs Pedestrian/Bicyclist Fatality.On 11/20/2024 at approximately 1800 hours, Robert Rodriguez was driving a 2023 Ford Transit Van northbound on US-101, south of Humboldt Road in Del Norte County. A male subject was walking or riding his bicycle on the northbound shoulder of US-101, south of Humboldt Road. For reasons still under investigation, the Ford Transit Van collided with the male subject. As a result of the crash, the male subject sustained fatal injuries.
