So many Americans are asking themselves that question as they are trying to make sense of the election. How could so many vote for a man they we told was a felon, Hitler and a Fascist? How could voters made up of Black, Hispanic, White, Asian, Christian, Hindu, Muslims, Jews, Young Voters, and Women in increasing numbers from the 2020 election to this election, vote for a man portrayed as the leader of a “White Supremacy MAGA movement?”Please allow me tell you my opinion as to why. First, I must tell you that I was a Democrat for most of my adult life, until I was 40. I was a Democrat because my family were Democrats. On the wall in my home were two pictures, one of Jesus Christ and the other was President Kennedy. At that time the Democrat party was the party of the blue-collar worker, the common man. The Republican Party was the party of the white-collar worker and the rich. For the past four years under Biden/ Harris, Americans have watched as our government following Covid, changed. We saw 11 million people illegally cross into our country at the Southern Border added and often funded by our own tax dollars through Non-Governmental Organizations. Our own Federal government moved these illegal migrants all over our States and communities without even asking, causing enormous burdens on the local governments and changing our cities, towns and villages, for them, and for the worse. #placement_573654_0_i{width:100%;max-width:550px;margin:0 auto;}var rnd = window.rnd || Math.floor(Math.random()*10e6);var pid573654 = window.pid573654 || rnd;var plc573654 = window.plc573654 || 0;var abkw = window.abkw || '';var absrc = 'https://ads.empowerlocal.co/adserve/;ID=181918;size=0x0;setID=573654;type=js;sw='+screen.width+';sh='+screen.height+';spr='+window.devicePixelRatio+';kw='+abkw+';pid='+pid573654+';place='+(plc573654++)+';rnd='+rnd+';click=CLICK_MACRO_PLACEHOLDER';var _absrc = absrc.split("type=js"); absrc = _absrc[0] + 'type=js;referrer=' + encodeURIComponent(document.location.href) + _absrc[1];document.write('');These illegal migrants with given free phones, free housing, $10,000 cash, free food, medical and education. All the while the citizens of this nation were dealing with inflation caused by massive spending packages passed in Washington D.C. driving up the costs of fuel, food and rent. Housing costs skyrocketed along with interest rates making the dream of home ownership for the majority of Americans impossible. We spent billions supporting the war in Ukraine. We spent billions aiding our enemies and intervening in their political decisions. While at home we moved to de-fund the police and became soft on crime. Citizens watched as their homes, stores and personal safety was sacrificed for a false narrative that America was a systemically racist nation. We saw a Democrat Party tell all men, but white men in particular, they were to blame for everything and demonized them. The Democrat Party became the party of the elites, billionaires, Hollywood, and those in academia, who taught our children to hate America. We saw them promise to erase the student loan debt of those who attended college while they abandoned blue-collar America, who equally love our country.Trump won because his message, his promise was to put Americans First. To close our borders, deport those who broke the law to enter our country. To spend the billions we wasted outside of our country here at home. To stop the over regulation that as promoted environmental energy programs and have stopped oil, natural gas, nuclear and coal plant development. His no tax on tips, overtime and on Social Security payments are all aimed at helping the majority of Americans living on a low or fixed income. His plan to unleash energy development and cut the federal budget by trillions will spark a renaissance in our country. He will fight for those who voted him in as the 47th President, the majority like me who represent not the elites, but the everyday, hard working, God’l- loving American, forgotten by his own party, but embraced by the Trump MAGA movement, which turned out to be the majority of voters.
