Kathryn passed peacefully on October 2nd, 2024. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Gary Puente, and her children: Lara Puente Castagnola, Stephanie Jarvis (David), Steven Puente (Amelia), Aaron Puente (Caitlin), Daniel Puente, and Janelle Evans (Jeremy). Kathryn adored her grandchildren, Elder Coleman Jarvis, Stella Jarvis, Madeline Jarvis, Sienna Castagnola, Zoe Evans, Amara Evans, Ramona Puente, Frederick Puente, Tosh Duvall, Jovie Duvall, and Bodhi Puente. Kathryn cherished family time and her life was anchored in her unwavering testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Her service to others and devotion to the Medford Oregon Temple reflected her faith. Kathryn loved her garden and shared the fruits of her labor with friends and neighbors. Kathryn graduated from Brigham Young University with a major in clothing and textiles and enjoyed sewing, quilting, and sharing her creations generously. Kathryn also served as a pianist and organist for many years in her church. Diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2017, Kathryn continued to live life to the fullest, traveling the world with Gary and dear friends.
