It’s definitely a developed skill.The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony is Saturday, October 12 at Noon. The new Pump Track is located off Front Street, on the far west end of the park. Not surprisingly, kids have been flocking to and showing up at the new course with their bikes and skateboards, over the last several weeks, “checking out the track,” anxiously waiting for Crescent City to officially open the Park. The new asphalt track has added additional landscaping which delayed the Opening. All Pump tracks are unique. No two tracks are alike. The Crescent City Park sports the following features:• 1800 square feet course.• Track has a main circuit and alternate jump line.• Features a first of kind on the United States, a double sided wall ride.• The Crescent City track meets the parameters to be a UCI-sanctioned pump track racing course.American Ramp Company of Joplin, Missouri is the sole Pump track developer in the USA. American Ramp is completing another track in Rocklin. Additional tracks have just been completed in Redmond and Hood River, Oregon and Suncadia and Port Angeles, Washington. The company is international producing tracks around the globe. The opportunities for Crescent City are boundless. If timers are added to the track, vigorous competition events can be staged in both bicycle, skateboard and other self-propelled modes, like roller-skating.Rules for using the track apply.
