Del Norte K9 Zuko is in rare class of selected, certified patrol dogs who’ve made the calendar. The four year old patrol tracking/ narcotics German Shepherd is the December 2025 Vested Interest in K9s, manufacturer of bullet and stab protective vests. Zuko is partnered up with Del Norte Deputy Sheriff Lucas Brittain. Zuko has been involved with several major drug busts in his two years with the Department after completing 300 hours of formal police training. Zuko’s likes: enjoys outdoors and loves to play fetch and “ kickin it” with Deputy Brittain.
