Work on the Dr. Fine Bridge over the Smith River continues on schedule. 101 traffic continues north and south on the temporary bridge. Speed limit is 25 mph.The Bridge is undergoing demolition to allow construction of a new bridge. This past June, in-water work began including pile driving which may be loud. The noise work will be conducted during daylight hours with night shifts for beam placement. The season’s in-water phase should be completed in October. Demolition should be completed by year’s end.
