Uncharted Shores Academy’s Offshore Program is proud to announce that 8th grader Elle Dauber has been awarded Scholastic Art and Writing Awards’ Silver Key in Writing. Elle’s essay Red Eyes scored among the top one percent of submissions in all grade levels for Personal Essay and Memoir in Region-at-Large West, spanning rural counties in California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.The Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards is the nation’s longest running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens hosted by the Alliance for Young Writers and Writers.
