Vickey Jan (Netherlain) Stamps, 83, went to her heavenly home with Christ on April 25, 2024. Vickey brought hope and joy to others. As a prolific author, she wrote and gave away hundreds of poems and short stories which encouraged many. As a life-long learner, she held four academic degrees. She lovingly cared for patients during her career as a nurse. Vickey used her creative skills to crochet, sew, knit, and draw. She was a featured monthly artist at a venue in Crescent City, CA and made over 309 dolls to distribute to sick children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell of 52 years, daughter, Syndia Kemp and brother, Larry Netherlain.A devoted wife to her best friend, they explored the Northern CA coast and magnificent redwoods. Vickey loved spending time with family and friends.Left to cherish her memory are her family, Rockey Hathaway, Kari Burford (husband, Ron), Ed Moore (partner, Stephen), Sandy Meeks (husband David), brother-in-law, Alvin Stamps (wife, Janice), and many grandchildren.
