Citing no legal requirement to provide mail service and potential liability issues handling someone else’s mail, the Harbor attorney advised the District of its options.The Harbor may instead require Park residents to provide their own mailboxes. Currently, tenants may access their mail during a two hour window at the Harbor office.A group of upset, long term tenants led by Bayside tenant Leonard Franklin expressed several tenants displeasure on a number of grievances concerning Park Maintenance, Restroom cleanliness, potholes in the roads, claims of disrespectful interaction with Harbormaster Tim Petrick and access to the delivery of mail and parcels. Last month, the tenants group met with District president / Commissioner Harry Adams and Gerhard Weber to discuss their complaints and concerns.Commissioners tabled the mail delivery item until its next meeting.
