Del Norte’s local micro Brewers were recognized with several awards at recent competitions. Both Sea Quake and Port’O Pints celebrated their recent recognition awards. At the 30th annual Winter US Beer tasting Championship, the best of California Porter was won by SeaQuake. Port’O Pints earned the top award My Honeys Brown, best of California Brown Ale. Port’O Pints also prevailed in best of Belgian Style- Sneaker Wave, best of Vienna/Marzen-Oktoberfest and best of Holiday Spice Beer- Mr. Krampus 2023.At the Eldorado County Commercial Craft Beer Competition, Sea Quake won the GOLD in the Redwood Highway IPA.
