Our father, William Evert Sargent, born in Crescent City, California to Evert and Margaret Sargent, passed away at home in Fort Dick, California on November 19, 2023, at the age of 81.Billy loved to hunt and spend time with family and friends.Billy leaves 4 children: Wendy Sargent, Laurie Hermansen, Bryan Sargent, Margaret Sargent, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.Our father started out working in the woods as a choker setter, worked at the log pond for Standard Veneer and became an owner of Klamath Sanitation and Sargent and Son with his father Evert Sargent. They sold the garbage company in 1989 to retire.Our father will be missed, but we know his discomforts are gone and he is at peace.
