Sutter Coast Hospital has announced the appointment of Michael Lane as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Lane began his new position, Monday, February 5.Lane comes to Sutter Coast as the former COO at Tenet Health Care of Templeton (San Luis Obispo county) overseeing operations at six hospitals across Northern California. Lane, simultaneously served as COO of Tenet Twin Cities Hospital, a 122 bed Acute Care facility, in Templeton.Lane, a graduate of Golden Gate Hospital with a Master of Science (MS) Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Health Care, information technology and financial management. Lane has served as past president of Templeton Chamber of Commerce, chairing the Cancer Support Committee. He is also a Board member of the California Association of Healthcare leaders/ American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
