The double stairway to Pebble Beach, between Freeman and Pacific is in poor condition and those wishing access to the beach should use caution in accessing the beach from this stairway.For almost a decade, through the efforts of three District Two supervisors, including Supervisor Valerie Starkey, this access to Pebble Beach will be fixed. Upon approval of the grant, repairs will be expedient.The property is maintained by the Department of Fish and Wildlife. CDFW has just applied for a $430,000 grant from the Wildlife Conservation Board.
