Redwood National Park is seeking the assistance of the Department of Defense Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) program for renovations to the Prairie Creek Fish Hatchery and restoration of landscapes in the Prairie Creek Watershed. This work will take place in 2025.The Prairie Creek Fish Hatchery was constructed in the 1930s to support commercial and sport fishing but has not been in operation since 1992.
