Monday, May 29, is Memorial Day. All government offices and banks will be closed. Crescent City and Del Norte County will remember those who gave their all so the rest of us may enjoy our freedoms.Commander Dave Cooper of local Veterans of Foreign Wars post 1381 announced the schedule for this hallowed weekend.• Saturday, May 27, the VFW, American Legion, Daughters of the American Revolution, and local Boy Scouts will set flags at veteran gravesites across the Crescent City Cemetery.
