Betty Maxine Mattz, 73, passed away on May 12, 2023, in Salem Oregon, after a fierce battle with cancer, she passed peacefully surrounded by family. She is survived by her children, 19 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Betty was a proud member of the Yurok tribe.A Celebration of life will be held on May 27th, 2023, at 2 PM at 2023 Elk Valley Rancheria Community Center 2298 Norris Ave. Crescent City, CA 95531 to be followed by a private interment at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
