Thirteen was the lucky number for the Del Norte Trail Alliance, as all 13 volunteers felt lucky to be out in the fog and drizzle that best highlights the beauty of the coastal forest. Six riders shuttled to the Damnation Creek trailhead and cleared logs, brush and debris heading north on the soggy but inspiring trail, while seven hikers did the same, climbing the hill heading south.
