The three person arbitration panel overseeing the Fashion Blacksmith lawsuit against the Crescent City Harbor District has reached its decision.The panel has found in favor of Fashion Blacksmith.According to Fashion attorney George Mavris, the full calculation of damages is still pending. The Harbor District will continue to pursue all legal remedies available to resolve the issues in a way that is reasonable to all parties. Unfortunately, the lease with Fashion Blacksmith was a product of a different regulatory landscape and the District found it nearly impossible to meet the requirements of the lease due to permitting issues.
